Facility
The school has an expansive 5,600 square feet of contemporary design space with elevator access to accommodate all of our space requirements.
The facility is compliant with all fire and safety code requirements and is handicap accessible.
There are two administrative offices, reception area, classroom area to accommodate as many as 40 students, a student lounge area with lockers to secure personal items, and a 25 station student clinic area that also has a facial station, pedicure stations, and manicure stations, and a full dispensary service area in an expansive, open contemporary setting with original wood flooring and 17' high tin ceilings.
Portsmouth Beauty School is a non-smoking facility.
School Business and Class Hours
Official business hours are Monday through Friday. 08:30 - 3:30
Classes are scheduled during the day, Monday through Friday. 08:45 - 8:00pm
At other times, including holidays, the administrator and staff may be available by appointment only.
Parking
There are three municipal parking lots maintained by the City of Portsmouth located approximately five minutes walking distance from the school’s main entrance. There is no charge for parking in these lots. There is also a municipal parking garage with inside parking located at High + Fleet St.
Disabilities
There is an elevator for access to the second floor from the Congress St. entrance.
